Abstract:
The present invention provides a multicomponent system alloy having high strength and high ductility. A multicomponent system alloy according to the present invention comprises titanium, zirconium, niobium, molybdenum, and tantalum, and is characterized by: further comprising one selected from the group consisting of hafnium, tungsten, vanadium, and chrome; satisfying Mo equivalent ≥ 13.5; and being a single-phase solid solution or a two-phase solid solution, or having a main phase that is a solid solution phase. In a preferred embodiment, this multicomponent system alloy is characterized by containing titanium, zirconium, niobium, molybdenum, tantalum, and hafnium.
