Title:
MULTICORE SYSTEM, MULTICORE SYSTEM CONTROL METHOD AND PROGRAM STORED IN A NON-TRANSIENT READABLE MEDIUM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2011/061878
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed are a multicore system, a multicore system control method and a program that can prevent the occurrence of sound cutoffs while suppressing the deterioration of picture-sound synchronization accuracy. A multicore system (2) is provided with: a main system program (610) which operates on a first processor core (61) and stores in a DMA transfer buffer (63) synthesized sound data of audio data that has been mixed; a reserve system program (620) that operates on a second processor core (62); and a sound output unit (64) that sequentially stores the synthesized sound data transferred from the DMA transfer buffer (63) and plays the stored synthesized sound data. If the amount of the synthesized sound data stored in the DMA transfer buffer (63) has not reached a prescribed data amount which has been determined corresponding to the amount of the synthesized sound data stored in the sound output unit (64), the reserve system program (620) takes over implementation of the mixing and storage of the synthesized sound data which was being implementing by the main system program (610).
