Abstract:
This multidirectional input device is provided with: an operation input unit that has an operation shaft, two connection means for converting the inclination of the operation shaft into two rotational angles which cross each other at a right angle, at least one return spring for returning the operation shaft to a vertically standing state, and a frame body for accommodating therein the two connection means, the at least one return spring, and a portion of the operation shaft; a plate-like base part provided under the frame body; and a load detector that is provided to the frame body or the base part and detects a load applied to the frame body.
