Abstract:
A multifunction electric bicycle which can generate electric power has a speedup generating electric power device at the bottom of the frame, and a solar charging device at the rear luggage carrier. The principle of the pedal type speedup generating electric power device is that, the pedal rotates a driving rear, the driving gear engages with a reduction gear, the reduction gear engages with a speedup gear in turn, and the speedup gear engages with an engine gear. During riding the bicycle, the power can be transmitted to the motor constantly, then the motor generates electric power to charge batteries until gain the service voltage. The battery is connected to the driving motor which is disposed at the rear wheel of the bicycle and drives the wheel rotating. A retractable solar plate is disposed at the rear luggage carrier of the bicycle. Draw out the expandable solar plate when the bicycle is in the sunlight, the electrically powered bicycle then can be charged automatically. The electric bicycle of the invention has a lots of advantages, such as it is compact and eliminate self-discharge, the weight is light, the dynamic characteristic is good and the life is long.
