Abstract:
A multifunctional element is provided. A multifunctional element according to an embodiment of the present invention is implemented to comprise: a first element comprising a first corpuscle and a first inner electrode arranged inside the first corpuscle such that at least an end of the first inner electrode is exposed to the front end and rear end of the first corpuscle; a second element comprising a second corpuscle and a second inner electrode arranged inside the second corpuscle such that at least an end of the second inner electrode is exposed to the front end and rear end of the second corpuscle, the second element being arranged on the lower portion of the first element such that the direction of exposure of the first inner electrode is identical to that of the second inner electrode, and the second element having a function different from that of the first element; a bonding portion interposed between the first element and the second element; and a pair of external terminals provided on the front end and rear end of the first element and the second element, respectively, which are laminated on each other, and electrically connected to the first inner electrode and the second inner electrode, respectively, which are exposed. Accordingly, different functions can be exhibited by a single element, electric reliability and coupling reliability are excellent, and a high level of durability is guaranteed.
