Abstract:
The present invention is a kind of multifunctional fish reef block, installed in the sea so as to reduce wave energy, prevent the loss of sand, and, at the same time, create an ecological environment for marine organisms, comprising: a body; four legs formed radially from the body and extending lengthwise; first protruding parts connecting the legs to one another and extending along the lengthwise directions of the legs; and second protruding parts extending along the circumferences of the legs and provided between the first protruding parts. The first protruding parts, which extend in the lengthwise directions of the legs, and the second protruding parts, which extend in the circumferential directions of the legs, improve the durability of the fish reef block and, at the same time, are effective in scattering waves, and increase the surface area and thereby further facilitate settlement of marine algae. In addition, the first and second protruding parts allow the promotion of weight distribution, reinforce the joints of the legs, and thereby increase the strength of the fish reef block. In one embodiment of the present invention, one ecological space can be formed by connecting multiple fish reef blocks with one another and coupling vegetation ropes or the like thereto, and bodies are spaced at a predetermined height from the bottom surfaces via head parts, thereby allowing the role of providing habitats for fish and marine animals to be played.
