Abstract:

The present invention relates to a multifunctional home network system employing ubiquitous computing, wherein the network is provided with a device capable of wired/wireless communication with an indoor home gateway, provides various services such as security, home automation, multimedia, and medical services, and is capable of transmitting information on such services to a user who is outside. The multifunctional home network system employing ubiquitous computing of the present invention comprises: home network equipment including a security system having an image capture device wired/wirelessly connected to a home gateway, a heating/cooling system, and/or applied devices; a wired/wireless controller capable of wired/wireless communication with the home gateway for directly controlling the home network equipment via the home gateway, or inputting control values to perform control in accordance with set values; an Internet center provided with a server for receiving and storing operation signals of the home network equipment over a wired/wireless network, the Internet center transmitting text and images to an external PC and portable wireless terminal of a user so as to enable control of the home network equipment; and a destination address for the security system, a medical system, and/or an emergency rescue system, in order to receive and monitor image and audio signals from the operation signals stored at the Internet center.
