| Claims 1. The multifunctional kitchen appliance for food preparation, equipped with a container for processed products closed from the top with a lid including the feed chute and pusher for feeding the processed products and equipped with interchangeable, rotary disc tools of varied working elements for different kinds of processing of food products, whereas each of these disc tools is mounted on the drive shaft inside the container, near the lid with the feed chute, and the drive shaft is advantageously connected with the drive motor via mechanical gearbox, characterized in that the permanent guard (11) is comprised, fixed immovably in the container (4) and being a partition between the lid (5) including the feed chute (6) and the disc tool (8), however the permanent guard (11) is equipped with the transfer channel (12) for the processed products, its topside adjacent to the feed chute (6) outlet, whereas the bottom side of the permanent guard (11) is located near the disc tool (8) and its surface is adjusted to its shape and advantageously enclosing its circumferential Iy. 2. The multifunctional appliance according to claim 1 , characterized in that the channel (12) of the permanent guard (11) has the topside shape adjusted to and circumferentially sealed with the feed chute (6) outlet. 3. The multifunctional appliance according to claim 1 or 2, characterized in that the permanent guard (11) is equipped with mounting handles (13) on its top surface. 4. The multifunctional appliance according to claim 1 or 2 or 3, characterized in the permanent guard (11) has circumferential grooves (14) and stripes (15), formed from its bottom side. 5. The multifunctional appliance according to claim 1 or 2 or 3 or 4, characterized in that the dicing attachment (18) is mounted in the transfer channel (12) of the permanent guard (11), as a circumferential grip (19) including assembled vertical knives (20), basically placed in parallel, in one direction, and cutting in vertical planes, and the disc tool (8) is equipped with a horizontal blade (21), cutting off in basically horizontal plane. 6. The multifunctional appliance according to claim 5, characterized in that the vertical knives (20) of the dicing attachment (18) are arranged in one direction, and the disc tool (8) is equipped with rotary blades (23), basically arranged in parallel, in direction perpendicular to the edge of its horizontal blade (21) and cutting in basically vertical planes. 7. The multifunctional appliance according to claim 6, characterized in that the vertical knives (20) of dicing attachment (18) are formed as segments (24) of metal tape, rigid mounted in circumferential grip (19) of this dicing attachment (18), and their blades are serrated. 8. The multifunctional appliance according to claim 6, characterized in that the circumferential grip (19) of the dicing attachment (18) is in shape close to rectangular. 9. The multifunctional appliance according to claim 5, characterized in that the vertical knives (20) of the dicing attachment are arranged in two mutually perpendicular directions. 10. The multifunctional appliance according to claim 9, characterized in that the vertical knives (20) of the dicing attachment are made of metal wire (27), stretched from the bottom side of its circumferential grip (19) and creating a grid. 11. The multifunctional appliance according to claim 10, characterized in that the circumferential grip (19) of the dicing attachment (18) has it shape close to elliptical. 12. The multifunctional appliance according to claim 11 , characterized in that the circumferential grip 19 of the dicing attachment 18 consists of two adjacent rings 28 and 29, however the grid comprising vertical knives is stretched on the lower ring 28, whereas the upper ring 29 is pressed tightly to the circumferential edge of the feed chute 6 outlet. |
Field of invention
The object of invention is the multifunctional kitchen appliance for food preparation, equipped with interchangeable, rotary cutting tools.
Background of invention
The multifunctional kitchen appliance including electric drive, interchangeable, rotary disc tools of different working surfaces for food processing is known from the publication of the Polish patent descriptions PL 175509 B1 , PL 197188 B1 and PL 197765 B1. The rotary tool is mounted on the drive shaft inside the bowl covered from the top with a lid including the feed chute and pusher for feeding the processed products and it is connected to the drive motor, located in the base of the multifunctional kitchen appliance, by mechanical transmission gear, located also in the base.
A solution, known from the publication of the German inventions DE 1260089 B and DE 2214742 A1 comprises a kitchen appliance provided with rotary cutting tool for chopping products fed through the feed chute, whereas the cutting tool is connected, by toothed gear in the base, with low-speed output of the drive of detachable hand food processor mounted on the same base and including the drive motor, whereas the said hand food processor can also be used as a self-contained appliance for other products processing activities, during which it is expected to be held by hand.
Whereas, it is known from the publication of the European application description of the invention EP 1304064 A2 and the Polish application description of the invention PL 355556 A1 a module-structured multifunctional kitchen appliance for food preparation, equipped with interchangeable, rotary chopping, mixing and slicing tools, placed in the working container for the processed products, fed through feed chute formed within the lid of the working container. This known solution comprises a detachable hand food processor connected to the working container lid, whereas the rotary tool is connected to high-speed output of the drive of the hand food processor with the toothed gear, located in the lid of the working container.
There is known from the following publication of the Polish patent description of the utility model PL 60687 Y1 a dicing grid for vegetables, especially for soft and boiled vegetables, having the shape of two flat cylinders constituting an entirety, whereas the inner cylinder of smaller diameter, which functions as a handle, is higher and the outer, lower cylinder of bigger diameter, adjacent to the former one, has some slots and teeth, between which a metal wire is arranged, creating a fine grill on the grid surface.
There is known from the next publication of the Polish description of the utility model PL 92961 U1 a shredder for dicing vegetables, especially onion, which shape allows for such shredding and which is made of a metal plate with extruded channel in the bottom of which there are two rows of perforations and a slicing blade.
The fruit and vegetable dicing device intended for household use is known from the publication of the Polish description of the utility model PL 96646 U1. The appliance has a form of a rectangular plate made of plastics, with elevated edges and it is equipped with four interchangeable sets of cutting blades and two cut-off blades. There is an overlay in the symmetry axis of the appliance, mounted on pins, which, together with the edges of the plate, determines the closed, rectangular vegetable feed path during dicing. There are some orifices under the cut-off blades, through which the cut vegetable is dispensed into the container.
There is known from the following publication of the Polish description of the utility model PL 102836 U1 an appliance for dicing fruits and vegetables intended for household use. The appliance has a housing made of plastic and it is equipped with a plate with cutting blade, mounted in sliding manner under the container and a shaft including discs and lever assembled in parallel. There are blades between the discs, inclined at an angle between 10° and 15° towards the plate axis. The plate including the cutting blade and the discs including blades comprise the transmission gear.
There is known from the following publication of the Polish description of the utility model PL 364534 A1 a shredder intended for dicing fruits and vegetables or cutting chips in household conditions or for catering or in industry, especially in refrigeration industry. The shredder is characterized in that the sliding or rotary assembled cut-off blade, with the cutting edge within the area of the outlet edge of the feed chute, has the moving surface which transforms into pushing surface, which moves along approximately in contact with the surface created by the cutting edges of the shaping blades. In other words, in this known appliance, after the slice of the diced product fed with the feed chute is cut out with the cut-off blade, the slice is pushed by the shaping knives and diced into cubes or cubicoid pieces.
There is known from the following publication of the German invention DE 19902392 A1 an appliance for dicing food products, including a container for diced products, fixed cutting disc, driving axle and rotary working disc, whereas the container closed from the top with a lid including the bearing of driving axle and feed chute with the pusher for processed products. The fixed cutting disc is stabilized by appropriate support, always in the same vertical and angular position, and there is a distancing surface on it, located under the feed chute. Moreover, the fixed cutting disc includes two cutter bars with longitudinal vertical knives, in radial arrangement, and the cutter bars are angularly arranged at a distance of approximately 135° and separated with an abrasive surface. In turn, the rotary working disc is situated in vertical position between the feed chute and fixed cutting disc, and it is equipped from its topside, with a slicing blade, cutting out the slices of thickness determined by its distance from the distancing surface of the fixed cutting disc, the transfer orifice for these slices, and from the bottom side a lateral driver located radially at distances adjusted to the arrangement of the vertical knives of the cutter bars of the fixed cutting disc, furthermore it has, in its axis of rotation, a hub for mounting on driving axle. The slices of fixed thickness, cut out by the cut-off blade of the rotary cutting blade are then pushed by its drivers through the arching section along the fixed cutting disc, cut with its first cutter bar for longitudinal segments, which are turned laterally on its abrasive area and diced by the other cutter bar, then, the dices are pushed under this fixed cutting disc into the container for cut products. In this known solution dicing in cubes of repeatable shape is not provided in respect of possible different angular adjustment of longitudinal segments during cutting them with the second cutter bar of the fixed cutting disc.
Objective of the invention
The objective of the present invention to elaborate the structure of the multifunctional kitchen appliance for food preparation, which shall provide limiting the wastes from processed products, including a possibility of application of big number of different kind of cutting tools for food products, the appliance of simple structure and handling, however providing possibility of cutting into dices of repeatable size and shape. Summary of the invention
The multifunctional kitchen appliance for food preparation, equipped with a container for processed products closed from the top with a lid including the feed chute and pusher for feeding the processed products and equipped with interchangeable, rotary disc tools of varied working elements for different kinds of processing of food products, whereas each of these disc tools is mounted on the drive shaft inside the container, near the lid with the feed chute, and the drive shaft is advantageously connected with the drive motor via mechanical gearbox, according to the present invention, it is characterized in that it is equipped with the permanent guard, immovably fixed in the container and being a partition between the lid including the feed chute and the disc tool, however the permanent guard is equipped with the transfer channel for the processed products, its topside is adjacent to the feed chute outlet, whereas the bottom side of the guard is located near the disc tool and its surface is adjusted to its shape and advantageously enclosing its circumferentially. Such solution consisting in implementation of the permanent guard enables limiting the wastes at products processing, in respect of elimination of the wastes accumulating between the lid and the disc tool which are not processed in known solutions.
Advantageously the channel of the permanent guard has the topside shape adjusted to and circumferentially sealed with the feed chute outlet, and the permanent guard is equipped with mounting handles on its top surface for easier removal of the permanent guard out of the container as well as circumferential grooves and stripes, formed from the bottom side, to improve the cooperation with the disc tool.
Further advantages, such as enhancing functionality of the multifunctional appliance, by providing dicing vegetables, is obtained in case the dicing attachment is mounted in the transfer channel of the guard, as a circumferential grip including assembled vertical knives, basically placed in parallel in at least one direction, and cutting in vertical planes, and the disc tool is equipped with at least one horizontal blade, cutting off in basically horizontal plane. In the first variant solution, the vertical knives of the dicing attachment are arranged in one direction, and the disc tool is equipped with rotary blades, basically arranged in parallel, in direction perpendicular to the edge of the horizontal blade, and cutting in basically vertical planes, furthermore, the vertical knives of dicing attachment are formed as segments of metal tape, rigid mounted in circumferential grip of this dicing attachment, and their blades are serrated, whereas the circumferential grip of the dicing attachment is in shape close to rectangular. However, in the second variant of this solution, the vertical knives of the dicing attachment are arranged in two mutually perpendicular directions, and furthermore, the vertical knives of dicing attachment are made of metal wire, stretched from the bottom side of its circumferential grip and creating a grid, whereas the circumferential grip of the dicing attachment has its shape close to elliptical and it consists of two adjacent rings, however the grid comprising vertical knives is stretched on the lower ring, whereas the upper ring is pressed tightly to the circumferential edge of the feed chute outlet.
According to the present invention, the multifunctional appliance is characterized by high efficiency in respect of enabling limiting the wastes from processed products, including a possibility of application of big number of different kind of cutting tools for food products, the appliance of simple structure and handling, however providing possibility of cutting into dices of repeatable size and shape.
Detailed description of the invention

The multifunctional kitchen appliance has module structure and it is intended for preparing food, and it includes drive module 1 , equipped with drive motor with detachable high-speed output of the drive connected to intermediate module 2, transmitting the drive and comprising the base of the multifunctional appliance including operating module 3. However the operating module 3 is equipped with the container 4 for processed products, closed from the top with a lid 5 including the feed chute 6 and pusher 7 for feeding these processed products, including interchangeable, rotary disc tools 8 of varied working elements for different kinds of processing of food products, whereas each of these rotary disc tools 8 is mounted on the drive shaft 9 inside the container 4, near the lid 5 with the feed chute 6. The drive shaft 9 is connected with the electric drive motor located in module 1 via mechanical gearbox in the form of belt drive 10, mounted in intermediate module 2.
The multifunctional appliance has a permanent guard 11 , immovably fixed in the container 4 and being a partition between the lid 5 including the feed chute 6 and the disc tool 8, however the permanent guard 11 is equipped with the transfer channel 12 for the processed products, its topside adjacent to the feed chute 6 outlet, whereas the bottom side of the permanent guard 11 is located near the disc tool 8 and its surface is adjusted to its shape and enclosing its circumferentially. The channel 12 of the permanent guard 11 has the topside shape adjusted to and circumferentially sealed with the feed chute 6 outlet, and the permanent guard 11 is equipped with two mounting handles 13 on its top surface as well as circumferential grooves 14 and stripes 15, formed from its bottom side.
In the first variant of embodiment the multifunctional appliance is equipped with the permanent guard 11 and disc tools 8 such as the first disc 16' for chipping, the second puree disc 16" and the third slicing disc 16'", foreseen for rigid mounting on cylindrical disc driver 17, which is mounted from its bottom on the drive shaft 9 and from the top in the lid 5 bearing.
In the second variant of embodiment of the multifunctional appliance the dicing attachment 18 is mounted in the transfer channel 12 of the permanent guard 11 , as a circumferential grip 19 including assembled vertical knives 20, basically placed in parallel in one direction, and cutting in vertical planes, and the disc tool 8 is equipped with a horizontal blade 21, cutting off in basically horizontal plane, whereas the vertical knives 20 of the dicing attachment 18 are arranged in one direction, and the disc tool 8 has a form of the fourth disc 22, which is equipped with rotary blades 23, basically arranged in parallel in direction perpendicular to the edge of the horizontal blade 21 and cutting in basically vertical planes. The vertical knives 20 of dicing attachment 18 are formed as segments 24 of metal tape, rigid mounted in circumferential grip 19 of this dicing attachment 18, and their blades are serrated, whereas the circumferential grip 19 of the dicing attachment 18 is in shape close to rectangular. 25, mounted such as the axial disc driver 17 from its bottom on the drive shaft 9 and from the top in the lid 5 bearing.
In the third variant of embodiment of the multifunctional appliance the vertical knives 20 of the dicing attachment are arranged in two mutually perpendicular directions, and the disc tool 8 has the form of the fifth disc 26, equipped with a horizontal blade 21 , cutting off in basically horizontal plane. The vertical knives 20 of dicing attachment 18 are made of metal wire 27, stretched from the bottom side of its circumferential grip 19 and creating a grid, and furthermore, the circumferential grip 19 of the dicing attachment 18 has it shape close to elliptical and it consists of two adjacent rings 28 and 29, however the grid comprising vertical knives is stretched on the lower ring 28, whereas the upper ring 29 is pressed tightly to the circumferential edge of the feed chute 6 outlet. The fifth disc
26, as in case of the fourth disc 22, is equipped with axial disc driver 25, mounted from its bottom on the drive shaft 9 and from the top in the lid 5 bearing.
According to the present invention in the multifunctional appliance, the drive module 1 in a form of so called blender has been applied as a universal drive including universal form-fitting coupling for kitchen appliances, equipped with high-speed drive output, basically intended for being used handhold or mounted in various kinds of attachments for storing and processing products, such as vacuum, blending, stirring, shredding, cutting appliances, etc., therefore the drive module 1 can also be applied for driving other appliances than the multifunctional kitchen appliance according to the invention.
The invention has been intended for household use, especially for dicing boiled vegetables in order to prepare different kinds of vegetable salads.
