A multifunctional LED display device and a clock are provided. The multifunctional LED display device includes a PCB (3), multiple LED lamps (1) which emit light and go out under the control of the PCB (3), and a display panel (4) set in front of the LED lamps (1). Multiple time display symbols including multiple strokes (10) are set on the display panel (4). Each stroke (10) is lightened by at least one LED lamp (1). The PCB (3) includes a clock circuit (31) for producing clock signals, a time display control unit (32) and a lighting control unit (33). The time display control unit (32) controls, according to the clock signals, the LED lamps (1) to emit light and go out so as to display time. The lighting control unit (33) receives a lighting trigger signal and, on the basis of said received signal, controls at least one LED lamp (1) which has been extinguished under the control of the time display control unit (32) to emit light.
