Abstract:
The multifunctional tetrapod according to the present invention comprises: four legs extending from the center of a triangular pyramid towards the respective four vertices of the triangular pyramid; a plurality of first protruding parts provided on each of the four legs so as to segment the circumference thereof, protrude outwards, and extend lengthwise; and a mounting part provided between the end of each leg and the plurality of first protruding parts. The multifunctional tetrapod may further comprise anchor bolts inserted between the plurality of first protruding parts, and vegetation ropes connected to the anchor bolts. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the tetrapod does not have a decreased cross section, thus has superior durability, facilitates vegetation of marine organisms, is stable when mounted on a breakwater or the like, and prevents a falling accident when a person goes up to the top of the tetrapod.
