Abstract:
Provided is a highly reliable multilayer ceramic capacitor which exhibits excellent durability in a high-temperature load test even in cases where the multilayer ceramic capacitor has a thinner ceramic dielectric layer. A multilayer ceramic capacitor (1) is provided with: a ceramic laminate (5) wherein a plurality of ceramic dielectric layers (2) are laminated; a plurality of internal electrodes (3, 4) that are arranged within the ceramic laminate so as to face each other with a ceramic dielectric layer therebetween; and external electrodes (6, 7) that are arranged on the outer surface of the ceramic laminate so as to be electrically connected to the internal electrodes. This multilayer ceramic capacitor (1) is configured such that the internal electrodes contain Ni as a main component and the lattice constant of Ni constituting the internal electrodes is within the range of from 0.3250 nm to 0.3450 nm. In addition, the internal electrodes, which contain Ni as a main component, are configured to contain Sn.
