Abstract:
A multilayer electrode based on mass transfer reduction and diffusion control, and an energy storage device based on mass transfer reduction and diffusion control of the multilayer electrode. The multilayer electrode based on mass transfer reduction and diffusion control comprises multiple layers of thin-layer electrodes (4, 6), a conductive thin film (5, 7) capable of performing ion conduction and electron conduction at the same time is disposed between every two adjacent thin-layer electrodes (4, 6), every two adjacent thin-layer electrodes (4, 6) are conductively connected by means of the conductive thin film (5, 7), and the thickness of each thin-layer electrode (4, 6) satisfies that L≤kδ, wherein L is the thickness of the thin-layer electrode (4, 6), k is a coefficient and k≥1, and δ is the thickness of a diffusion control layer. By configuring the electrode to be multiple layers of thin-layer electrodes (4, 6), the number of the thin-layer electrodes (4, 6) which are charged and discharged at the same time can be increased, the specific surface area can be effectively increased, and the energy storage capacity is increased; in addition, the thickness of the thin-layer electrode (4, 6) is limited by using the thickness of the diffusion control layer, so that reaction molecules or ions and the like in the electrode are not controlled by a mass transfer rate or the control of the mass transfer rate is greatly improved, the specific power of the energy storage device is improved, and the utilization rate of the porous electrode is greatly improved.
