Abstract:
A multilayer film that even at high-speed film forming, excels in adhesion, appearance, transparency and pinhole prevention; and an oriented multilayer film excelling in gas barrier and pinhole prevention. There is provided a multilayer film characterized by having a layer containing an ethylene/vinyl alcohol copolymer containing the following structural unit (1) at its one major surface or both major surfaces laminated with a layer containing a thermoplastic resin. (1) wherein X is any bonding chain excluding ether bonds; each of R1 to R4 independently is an arbitrary substituent; and n is 0 or 1.
