　[Problem] To provide a multilayer filtration material for a filter having low pressure loss and high trapping performance, a method for manufacturing said material, and an air filter not only having low pressure loss and high trapping performance but also exceptional pleat shapability and deformability in response to wind pressure. [Solution] A multilayer filtration material for a filter is obtained by layering a wet nonwoven fabric layer (2) onto a wet nonwoven fabric layer (1) containing nanofibers (A) individually measuring 200-800 nm in diameter and 0.4-0.7 mm in length, fibers (B) individually of greater diameter than the nanofibers (A), and binder fibers (C). The wet nonwoven fabric layer (2) contains nanofibers (A) individually measuring 200-800 nm in diameter and 0.4-0.7 mm in length, fibers (B) individually of greater diameter than the nanofibers (A), and binder fibers (C), the wet nonwoven fabric layer (2) having a greater proportion of nanofibers (A) in weight than the wet nonwoven fabric layer (1).
