Description:
DESCRIPTION

MULTILAYER PAPER AND LAMINATION METHOD FOR PRODUCING THE

THE RELATED ART

The present invention relates to paper used with the purpose of wrapping.

The invention particularly relates to a paper embodiment and the lamination method of the said paper, which is basically formed by combination of type-A paper known as chromo paper (white glossy paper), high grade-lightly glazed (white matt paper), illustration (heavy paper suitable for photo printing), sulphide (thin glossy white paper), copy paper (thin translucent), simili (two-sides glossy), half simili (one-side glossy) paper and type-B paper known as all paper types used in grey board and/or corrugated board production (Fluting, Test liner, White Test liner, Kraft liner, White Kraft liner, Schrenz) via starch based dextrin glue in order to obtain chromo board, duplex board, bristol board, carrier board, coated white top kraft liner, coated white top test liner, one side chipboard, white test liner and equal paper board.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

As it is known, the layer and the bobbin made of wood, hay, algae etc. plantal substances and is suitable for printing is called paper. There are two significant operations in paper production:

1 - Conversion of basic materials into pulp:

Since the basic materials are scrap or wood, there are various ways of conversion of pulp into paper.

In order to prepare pulp from scrap; firstly, the pieces not suitable for producing paper are separated from scrap.

Sorted scrap is washed with hot sodium hydroxide water or limewater. Lime source and chlorine gas are used for bleaching of scrap fibres and pulp is thoroughly crushed. Dye, kaoline, barium sulphate, resin etc. materials and stiffening materials are added to the obtained pulp.

In order to obtain pulp from wood, pine tree, beech tree, and poplar tree are gathered to be used in paper production. Trees are cut into cylinder shape and their barks are peeled off and cleaned by rasping. Afterwards, they are exposed to hot steam. Then they are brought into fiber form at large millstones made of hard rock. This wood pulp obtained is collected in pools. Wood pulp is cleaned from resins and white pulp is obtained.

2- Conversion of pulp into paper:

Pulp brought into fluid form by a propeller in a large pool is transferred onto a rotating cloth stretched between two large rotating cylinders. While it is advancing on this cloth as a thin sheet, it loses its water via the cylinders and it is brought into wet paper form. This wet paper is processed through drying machines and wound around a wooden roller. These wound rollers form paper bobbins. These bobbins serve their purposes in rotatory machines.

Papers are classified according to their types. Papers of our field are boards and paperboards of various thickness such as chromo paper (white glossy paper), high- grade (white matt) lightly glazed (white matt) sulphide papers, illustrations (thick and heavy paper suitable for photo printing), copy paper (thin translucent), simili (two- sides glossy), half simili (one-side glossy), verge (matt, thick and fibrous). Starch and resin addition is made during production. While dye is also added at times for coloring, it may be made suitable for food through chemical coatings. They are widely used for recycling, which is a subject of great importance in today's world. Their weight may vary between 60-1000 g/m 2 . Their durability against humidity may be increased by use of additives.

High grade, sulphide, chromo paper: Quality paper having 5% wood in its composition with glossy and matt types. One of the improvements made in the prior art about the subject is the strengthened wrapping, protection, conservation, and coating material described in the patent application with no TR 2008 09886. The said invention is a wrapping, protection, and conservation coating product comprising strengthening fibrous material between a selected first and second layer among paper, nylon, and aluminium foil.

In the products of the said invention, the layers and the fibrous material are combined via thermal processing or application of glue. Another invention is the utility model with no TR 2007 05443 and describes reinforced wrapping paper. The invention is used in wrapping of all kinds of industrial products. It is formed by placement of polypropylene mesh between crepe paper and polyethylene film and providing sticking of these two through the mesh intervals of the polypropylene mesh. It is waterproof thanks to the uppermost polyethylene film and can not be ruptured easily through its flexibility or in case of a rupture, tearing remains local thanks to the polypropylene mesh.

Another European patent application with no EP1911574B1 describes improved emboss-formed paper material and its production method. Cleaning paper material has almost linear extensions and protruding areas produced by embossment. The surface structure obtained in this way increases the cleaning properties of the paper sheet.

The most significant problems of the prior art applications are the quality problem and basis weight problems of the imported and domestically produced products. Moreover, dependency on import causes great losses in today's competitive market.

In order to eliminate the above said drawbacks, a paper embodiment having various advantages against similar products and its lamination method would meet significant technical demands. In this way, an alternative product and its production method would be presented through "combination" for chromo board, mead board, and duplex board etc. boards used in all kinds of offset printing wrapping products. PURPOSE OF THE INVENTION

Purpose of the present invention is to eliminate technical drawbacks by obtaining a quality and economic paper embodiment. In this context, the purpose of the invention is to obtain a paper embodiment with lamination method providing desired printing quality and ease of usage at wrappings.

The lamination method being the subject of the invention can operate with less energy and thus it is possible to use low amount of electric and steam energy with the method being the subject of the invention.

Another purpose of the paper embodiment of the invention is to provide an embodiment which would minimize the time and labour losses occurring during lamination. Therefore, it is much more economical than the group C papers, which are presented as an alternative in this sense.

In order to achieve the said purposes, the invention comprises type-A paper, glue, and type-B paper. In order to achieve the said purposes, said glue is starch and starch based glue.

In order to achieve the said purposes, the invention is a lamination method and it comprises the operation steps of: passing of type-A paper from the main bobbin to the roller where lamination would be made, passing of type-B paper from the main bobbin to the roller found above the glue chamber and processing and lamination of the glued type-A paper and the type-B paper at the roller where lamination is made.

In order to achieve the said purposes, said type-A paper basically comprises; individuals or combinations selected from chromo paper (white glossy paper), high grade-lightly glazed (white matt paper), illustration (heavy paper suitable for photo printing), sulphide (thin glossy white paper), copy paper (thin translucent), simili (two- sides glossy), half simili (one-side glossy) paper in order to obtain chromo board, duplex board, bristol board, carrier board, coated white top kraft liner, coated white top test liner, one side chipboard, white test liner, and equal paper board.

In order to achieve the said purposes, said type-B paper comprises; individuals or combinations selected from all paper types used in grey board and/or corrugated board production (Fluting, Test liner, White Test liner, Kraft liner, White kraft liner, Schrenz).

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION In this detailed description, the paper embodiment and lamination method, which is the subject of the invention, will be disclosed for better understanding of the subject, and will not form any limiting effect.

The invention comprises a paper embodiment and the lamination method of the said paper, which is basically formed by combination of type-A paper known as chromo paper (white glossy paper), high grade-lightly glazed (white matt paper), illustration (heavy paper suitable for photo printing), sulphide (thin glossy white paper), copy paper (thin translucent), simili (two-sides glossy), half simili (one-side glossy) paper and type-B paper known as all paper types used in grey board and/or corrugated board production (Fluting, Test liner, White Test liner, Kraft liner, White kraft liner, Schrenz) via starch based dextrin glue in order to obtain chromo board, duplex board, bristol board, carrier board, coated white top kraft liner, coated white top test liner, one side chipboard, white test liner and equal paper board.

Said paper embodiment comprises type-A paper, starch and starch based glue, and type-B paper. Here, said glue is preferably starch and starch based glue and use of other types is also possible.
