Abstract:
A power conversion unit (16) has: switching elements that are connected in parallel to primary-side filter capacitors (14, 15), respectively; freewheel diodes connected in parallel to the switching elements; and snubber resistors connected in parallel to the switching elements. A control unit (18) stops the power conversion unit (16) by turning off the switching elements. After the power conversion unit (16) is stopped, the control unit (18) operates a discharge circuit (11) by turning on a thyristor (13), and discharges the primary-side filter capacitors (14, 15), and by discharging the primary-side filter capacitors (14, 15), a secondary-side filter capacitor (17) is discharged via the freewheel diodes.
