Abstract:
A multimodal dielectric resonance device wherein the arrangement of dielectric cores in the cavity is easy and which comprises a plurality of stages of resonators and has a high Qo value. Dielectric cores (1b, 1c) that resonate in a plurality of modes such as TM01$g(d)-(x-z), TE01$g(d)-y, TM01$g(d)-(x+z) are supported in nearly the central portion of a cavity (2) in a floated state by using support members (3) and spaced from the inner wall surfaces of the cavity (2) at predetermined distances.
