Title:
MULTIPART WATER RESTRICTOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/1996/030689
Kind Code:
A2
Abstract:
The subject of the invention is multipart water restrictor, which is inserted into the oppressed part of a new or already existent water armature and it restricts the flow of water and at the same time does not allow the hard parts to enter into the armature. Multipart water restrictor is composed by a washer restrictable part (1) and a protective sieve (2). At the thickened edge (1b) of the part (1a) of the washer restrictable part (1) there is a protective sieve (2), and in the washer restrictable part (1) there is a hole (4) with an edge (4'). The protective sieve (2) is cone-shaped with equally large longish shaped rifts (2') and it can be replaced without changing the washer restrictable part.

Description:
MULTIPARTWATERRESTRICTOR

The subject of the invention is multipart water restrictor, which is inserted into the oppressed part of a new or already existent water armature, which restricts the flow of water and at the same time does not allow that hard part would enter in the armature. The invention belongs to the class F 16 K47/00 of international patent classification.

Technical problem which is successfully solved by the invention is the constructional solution of such inserted part, which will at the same time restrict the water stream and protect the armature from stuffing with hard parts, but also an easy cleaning of such inserted part should be possible. And it also should be easily produced and fitted.

The inserted parts for restriction of water flow or combined washers to control the flow of water are known, for example from the German patent document DE 41 31 466. Described construction of combined washer with the restrictional hole to control the flow of water does not permit the separable changing of the sieve. The sieve has the rifts of the same dimensions. According to the quality and water hardness these rifts can get stuffed because of water stone.

Multipart water restrictor has a washer restrictable part and protective sieve separatly performed, so that this construction permits to chane the sieve only or to adjust the holes into the sieve according to the quality and water hardness and to change the sieve without changing the restrictable part.

The invention is describ ed on the basis of the performed case and sketches, which show:

Sketch 1 multipart water restrictor in the profile inserted into the accessory A; Sketch 2 protective sieve in the ground plan from the side;

Sketch 3 washer restrictable part.

Multipart water restrictor is inserted into the oppressed part of the water armature in a way that is shown in a sketch 1. It is composed of a washer restrictable part 1 and protective sieve 2. In the accessory 2 there is at one side a coil to fix on a water armature, and the washer restrictable part 1 with its flat surface 1' comes to the edge 3 of the accessory A. At the other side of the washer restrictable part 1 the body comes into the part 1a, which is concluded with a thicker edge 1b at the end. Centrally there is in a washer restrictable part 1 a hole 4 with an edge 4' on the side of the part 1 a.

The protective sieve 2 has a cone - shaped body with equally big longishly shaped rifts 2'. The lower part of the protective sieve 2 is shaped as a thickened edge 1 b of the washer restrictable part 1. The rifts' shape 2' permits a larger surface of the stream as it was usual for the known products with a protective net. The protective sieve is made of a material which serves all the conditions for the use of drinkable water according to the international standards and and its elasticity permits its fitting onto the thicker edge 1 b. The main advantage of the multipart water restrictor is its simplicity when separating the protective sieve 2 from the washer restrictable part 1. With differently large rifts 2' of the protective sieve 2 there is no danger of

the water stone, which can otherwise cause stuffing when used for longer time or the hard water.

Multipart water restrictor solves the technical problem and at the same time it can be used under different conditions because of its universality at construction and fitting, and it can be used by different consumers and at different qualities and water hardness.
