Abstract:
A multiple connected photoelectric switch device comprises a main body (10), a photoelectric switch unit of a separated amplifier type (30), and a photoelectric switch unit of an optical fiber type (50). The main body (10) of the device is provided with a plurality of installing parts (11) and either type of the photoelectric switch units (30, 50) can be installed on the installing parts (11). When these units (30, 50) are installed, main circuits (20) in the main body (10) of the device are connected with the units (30, 50) via connectors (12, 32, 52). Light projecting signals are fed to light projecting/receiving circuits (45, 64) of the respective units (30, 50) by the main circuits (20). Light receiving signals from the light projecting/receiving circuits (45, 64) are inputted to the main circuits (20) and switching signals are outputted from the main circuit (20). The switching signals are transmitted to the external of the device by a transmitting circuit (21). In this manner, the photoelectric switch units of the separated amplifier and optical fiber types can be used jointly at the same time by the one main body (10) of the device.
