Title:
MULTIPLE-GENE KNOCKOUT MICROORGANISM BELONGING TO GENUS ASPERGILLUS AND PRODUCTION METHOD THEREFOR
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2020/095864
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide: a transformed microorganism belonging to the genus Aspergillus deficient of at least two selectable marker genes usable in a marker recycling method; and a composition for use of the transformed microorganism. The purpose is achieved by a transformed microorganism belonging to the genus Aspergillus deficient of at least two selectable marker genes usable in a marker recycling method on the chromosome thereof; and a composition that is for transforming a microorganism belonging to the genus Aspergillus and that comprises at least two nucleic acid fragments including a loop-out region and a selectable marker gene usable in a marker recycling method between homologous recombination regions, wherein the selectable marker genes include, for example, a tryptophan biosynthesis gene and a gene different from the tryptophan biosynthesis gene.
