Abstract:
A multiple-rotor disc-type generator for a railway vehicle, a railway vehicle and a method for mounting the generator. The multiple-rotor disc-type generator includes at least one stator (300,2300,500) configured for connecting immovably to a stationary part of the railway vehicle, and two or more rotors (200,400, 2400,600) configured for attaching to an axle end of an axle of the railway vehicle to rotate with the axle. The rotors (200,400, 2400,600) and the stator (300,2300,500) are stacked in an axial direction of the generator. The stator (300,2300,500) comprises a center hole (310,2310,510), and the generator comprises at least one spacing means (410,2410,610) penetrating the center hole (310,2310,510) and abutting against at least one of the rotors (200,400, 2400,600), to restrict a distance between functional members of at least two adjacent rotors (200,400, 2400,600) in the axial direction and define a space for accommodating the stator (300,2300,500) in the axial direction, wherein the spacing means (410,2410,610) rotates with the rotors (200,400, 2400,600) when the generator is in operation.
