OBJECT OF THE INVENTION

The present invention can be included in the technical field of home plumbing installations, in particular, pipe installations for bathtubs, showers and sinks.

More specifically, the object of the invention relates to a multiple showerhead that provides the user with the possibility of applying several substances at the same time by means of a main body that couples to different individual interchangeable devices, wherein aromatic and/or cosmetic substances are placed.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Aromatherapy is a therapeutic treatment that makes use of natural essences or oils extracted from plants, flowers or trees, with the objective of improving one's general health and well-being. They can be applied through contact with the skin or by respiration, and are very effective for alleviating physical ailments or diseases and, moreover, for balancing and uplifting our emotions.

Patent US3083915 relates to a device joined a showerhead for mixing bath soap into the water flowing out. Document US484031 1 relates to a shower dispensing head with a mechanical two-way valve that allows bath oil and soap to be dispensed. Document US7093775 consists of a showerhead with a fragrance dispenser. Lastly, document US5093943 consists of a multiple showerhead with multiple hydrotherapy functions.

Thus, considering the previous documents, it is necessary to find alternatives that are intended for devices that allow for a shower or bath with aromatherapy treatment using natural essences and the application of other cosmetic substances that users can use easily.

DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The present invention relates to a multiple showerhead that provides the user with the possibility of applying several substances at the same time, which comprises a main body that couples to different interchangeable devices, wherein the substances chosen as natural essences for aromatherapy or cosmetic substances are individually placed in each head.

Thus, one aspect of the present invention relates to a showerhead for applying multiple aromatic and/or cosmetic substances which is characterized in that it comprises:

- a main body with a standard threaded system screwed to water pipes on the upper section thereof and a base with holes to allow for the outlet of water together with a mechanism for coupling to multiple interchangeable devices, and

- at least two interchangeable devices that comprise a base with holes, allowing the flow of water, wherein the aromatic and/or cosmetic substances are placed, and which comprise, both on the upper and lower section thereof, a mechanism for coupling to a main body or to another interchangeable device.

In a preferred embodiment, the coupling mechanism of the main body to the interchangeable devices or between said devices is a threaded opening and closing system.

In another preferred embodiment, the base with holes of the main body and of the interchangeable devices is a stainless steel mesh.

PREFERRED EMBODIMENT OF THE INVENTION

A preferred embodiment is described below, based on Figures 1 to 3. The following figures are not to shown to scale and the real dimension and/or shape of each of the components of the device may vary.

FIG. 1 shows a general view of the multiple showerhead (1 ), which comprises a main body (3) with a standard threaded screw system (4) on the upper part for the coupling thereof to any pipe (5) and the interchangeable devices coupled to the main body (2a, 2b and 2c).

FIG. 2 shows the main body (3) of the showerhead (1 ), which comprises a standard threaded screw system (4) for the coupling thereof to any pipe on the upper section and the coupling system (6), by means of threaded screwing, to one of the interchangeable devices on the lower section.

FIG. 3 shows one of the interchangeable devices (2) which comprises a base with holes (9) wherein the substance chosen by the user is placed and which comprises, both on the upper section (8) and on the lower section (7) thereof, a coupling system by means of screwing to the main body or to another interchangeable device.
