Abstract:
A multiple-spindle electric press provided with: a lower frame (1); side frames (2) that are erected on top of the lower frame (1); an upper frame (3) that is mounted on top of the side frames (2); and a plurality of pressing shaft units (5a-5e) that are suspended from the upper frame (3). Each pressing shaft unit (5a-5e) is provided with: an electric motor (50); a screw shaft (51) that is axially supported so as to be capable of forward and reverse rotation; a transmission mechanism (52) that transmits the rotational motion of the electric motor (50) to the screw shaft (51); and a slide (53) that has a nut member (53a) that is screwed onto the screw shaft (51) and has a detent part that regulates the rotation of the nut member (53a). A guide part that fits slidably with the detent part is provided to the upper frame (3).
