A dual view liquid crystal display device (1) is provided with screen reducing sections (32, 42) which form sub-screens (11a, 12a), i.e., the reduced screens of main screens (11, 12); and screen combining sections (33, 34) which combine the sub-screens (12a, 11a) with the main screens (11, 12). Thus, while viewing one screen, the contents on the other screen can be known.
