Abstract:
A multiplexing method and device for broadcast signal transmission is disclosed. A method for adjusting an output packet providing time point of a stream generation device for providing a decoding device with an output stream including output packets according to an embodiment may comprise the steps of: acquiring a first output packet and a second output packet; assigning a first multiplexing time to the first output packet, and assigning a second multiplexing time that is different from the first multiplexing time to the second output packet; and multiplexing the first output packet and the second output packet on the basis of the first multiplexing time and the second multiplexing time, and providing, as the output stream, the multiplexed first output packet and second output packet to the decoding device.
