Abstract:
The present application provides a multiplication circuit, a system on a chip, and an electronic device. The multiplication circuit is used for performing multiplication operation of two pieces of data A and B, and comprises: an addition sub-circuit, used for obtaining log-domain data a and log-domain data b respectively corresponding to A and B, and performing addition operation on a and b to obtain c, c comprising an integral part and a decimal part; an exponential operation sub-circuit, used for performing exponential operation of the decimal part with a base being 2 and an exponent being c to obtain an exponential operation result; a shift sub-circuit, used for shifting the exponential operation result according to the integral part of c to obtain a shift result; an output sub-circuit, used for outputting a product of A and B according to symbols of a and b and in combination with the shift result. The present multiplication circuit can reduce overhead during conversion of data between a linear domain and a log domain, and improve the speed of cumulative multiplication operations.
