Abstract:
The present invention addresses the problem of providing an efficacious means against muscle atrophy. Provided is a muscle atrophy inhibitor that comprises, as active ingredient(s): (1) one or more proteins selected from the group consisting of growth differentiation factor-10 protein, keratocan protein and interleukin-11 receptor α chain 1 protein; or (2) an expression vector that carries one or more genes selected from the group consisting of growth differentiation factor-10 gene, keratocan gene and interleukin-11 receptor α chain 1 gene.
