Abstract:
Provided are a method for treating muscle atrophy, and a method and means for promoting muscle hypertrophy. The present invention provides a muscle-building agent characterized by comprising a TRPV1 agonist as an active component; as well as an agent for treating or preventing a disease or disorder causing muscle atrophy, the agent being characterized by comprising a TRPV1 agonist as an active component.
