Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide a safe muscle-enhancing agent capable of effectively increasing or maintaining muscle mass and muscle strength, and suppressing a decrease in muscle mass and muscle strength. Further provided are a muscle-enhancing composition including said muscle-enhancing agent, and a method for enhancing muscle using said muscle-enhancing agent or said muscle-enhancing composition. This muscle-enhancing agent is characterized by containing an extract of lemon myrtle as an active ingredient.
