Abstract:
In this music search method, change in pitch over time of an input sound from the user is encoded, and the result of partial sequence matching based on the edit distance is acquired. In said partial sequence matching, the query, which is a symbol string that contains the aforementioned encoded input sound, is matched against multiple songs stored in a database.
