Abstract:
[Problem] To enable musical performances by patients having decreased motor function of the fingers, said performances ensuring the amount of movement for each finger corresponds to the degree of impairment of said finger. [Solution] This musical instrument is provided with: one or more operation keys (120) arranged at a position where at least a finger which requires training, i.e. a training finger, makes contact therewith when the hand is along a prescribed position; a guide member (130) that uses a means that the user can perceive so as to guide the user to the operation key (120) that the user should press; a storage unit (140) that, when the number of notes used to constitute the original sequence of notes is greater that the number of training fingers, stores music notation data after compression classification processing in which each of the notes used is compressed and classified into a number of groups equal to or below the number of training fingers; and a control unit (170) that associates each constituent note in the music notation data with an operation key (120), selects the operation key (120) to be pressed next along the flow of the musical performance, and actuates the guide member (130) incorporated in said operation key (120).
