Abstract:

The present invention relates to a Wickerhamomyces ciferrii mutant strain overproducing tetraacetylphytosphingosine (TAPS) and a TAPS production method using same. The Wickerhamomyces ciferrii mutant strain, provided in the present invention, exhibits excellent TAPS productivity, and thus may be widely used for developing various products using TAPS.
