Abstract:
A muzzle signature management device 100 for a firearm may include a body having a bore 102 through a central axis, a first plurality of linear ports 306 extending generally coaxially with the bore and providing a gas pathway from the bore to the outside surface 110 of the body, a second plurality of linear ports 108 intersecting the first plurality of linear ports 306 and providing a gas pathway from the bore 102 to the outside surface 110 of the body, and a plurality of surface features within the first and second plurality of linear ports 306, 108 configured to affect the discharge gasses exiting from the muzzle of the firearm.
