Abstract:
An N-path filter (1) comprises N signal paths (P1-PN) that are connected in parallel between signal terminals (110 and 120), and N signal paths (P41-P4N). The signal path (PN) has a switch (1N) connected to the signal terminal (110), a switch (3N) connected to the signal terminal (120), and a base filter (5N) connected between the switches (1N and 3N). The signal path (P4N) has a switch (4N) connected to a signal terminal (130). The base filter (5N) includes a series arm element that has a reactance component. The switches (1N and 3N) modulate an input signal at a phase that becomes 1 cycle T in the signal paths (P1-PN). The switch (4N) modulates an input signal at a phase that becomes 1 cycle T in the signal paths (P41-P4N). The phase of a drive signal of the switch (3N) and the phase of a drive signal of the switch (4N) are reverse to each other.
