Abstract:
The present invention relates to nail clippers to be used for trimming fingernails or toenails. The present invention comprises: a plate-shaped support piece having a cutting blade upwardly formed at one end thereof, and having, at the sides thereof, a pair of erectly formed hinge pieces having through-holes; a plate-shaped plate body; a plate member having a cutting blade downwardly formed at one end of the plate so as to engage with the cutting blade, and having, at the other end, a supporting piece coupled and fixed to the upper part of the support piece; a plate-shaped push piece having cylindrical hinge pins, respectively protruding from the sides of one end thereof, so as to be inserted into and fastened to the through-holes formed in the hinge pieces; a rectangular pusher having a through-hole formed to penetrate the right and left sides thereof such that the push piece is inserted therein and the pusher slides, and having a cylindrical push rod coupled to one side of the lower surface thereof; and a scattering preventer having wing pieces formed on the upper surface of one side thereof such that the support piece is inserted therein and the scattering preventer slides right and left, and having prevention plates formed at both sides thereof.
