Abstract:
A nail file which can be easily used even by vision-impaired persons and finger-impaired persons.
A nail file (1) comprises a plate member (2) which is the base member having a shape with an edge; a groove (3) provided along the edge (2a) of the plate member (2); and a file section (4) provided in the groove (3). The file section (4) is an assembly of holes (5) formed along the entire length of the groove (3) so as to penetrate through the plate member (2) from the bottom of the groove (3) to the rear face of the plate member (2). The edges of the holes (5) are not chamfered and serve as the file. In the nail file (1), the groove (3) is formed along the edge (2a) of the plate member (2), which is the base member having a shape with an edge, and the file section (4) is provided in the groove (3). As a result of the configuration, when filing the edge of a nail by the file section (4), the groove (3) serves as the guide for the nail and, in addition, the edge (2a) of the plate member (2) serves as the guide for the finger tip portion located below the nail.
