Title:
NAKED-EYE 3D DISPLAY METHOD AND CONTROL SYSTEM BASED ON EYE TRACKING
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/080295
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Disclosed are a naked-eye 3D display method and control system based on eye tracking. The method comprises: acquiring binocular midpoint coordinates of a viewer photographed by a camera; by means of comparing the binocular midpoint coordinates with pre-calibrated pre-set reference coordinates, determining the direction of movement of the two eyes of the viewer and the distance the eyes move away from the pre-set reference coordinates; and according to the direction of movement and the distance moved, and also in combination with a pre-calibrated initial offset for the two eyes, carrying out translational processing on the display content of a display screen, wherein the initial offset is a distance by which the centre of the optical axis of the camera is offset from a central point of a layout cycle that takes a layout reference point as a starting point when the binocular midpoint coordinates are located at the pre-set reference coordinates. By means of the above-mentioned technical solution, the display content of a screen can correspondingly move along with the movement of both the eyes, and thus a viewer does not need to deliberately find a viewing position within a visual distance range, thereby making it possible to avoid the occurrence of crosstalk, and also making it possible to easily experience an ideal naked-eye 3D effect.
