Abstract:
A name cloth feed device, to be attached to a hemming apparatus, for cutting name cloth pieces (220) from a name cloth ribbon (220a) consisting of many consecutive pieces of name cloth, and feeding them successively onto a table (200) on which a cloth material is laid, comprising a pair of feed rollers (10) for nipping the name cloth ribbon and feeding a prescribed amount of it, a mark sensor (20) for reading marks on the name cloth ribbon, a cutter (30) for cutting out each piece of name cloth to separate it from the rest, a pressure plate (40) for pushing the uncut name cloth ribbon in a different direction from its feed direction, and a platform (50) for nipping a part of the name cloth ribbon in cooperation with a feed belt (51).
