Abstract:
A nanocapsule accumulation method includes: a step (C) for radiating laser light (L1) outside the wavelength region of localized surface plasmon resonance of gold nanoparticles (1) to an aqueous liquid (W) in which a plurality of nanocapsules (10) are dispersed, and thereby changing ELP2 from hydrophilic to hydrophobic by increasing the temperature of ELP2, and causing a portion of the plurality of nanocapsules (10) to aggregate; a step (D) for capturing a nanocapsule aggregate (10A) formed by the aggregation at the irradiation position of the laser light (L1); a step (E) for converting the laser light (L1) to heat through use of the gold nanoparticles (10) included in the nanocapsule aggregate (10A) and heating the liquid surrounding the nanocapsule aggregate (10A); and a step (G) for accumulating the plurality of nanocapsules (10) by a convection current generated by heating the liquid.
