Abstract:
The present invention relates to: a nanoenergetic material (nEM) composite-based solid propellant in which a potassium nitrate-sucrose (KNSU) composite propellant and an nEM are mixed so as to prepare a solid propellant (KNSU/nEMs composite propellant), thereby having improved performance; a preparation method therefor; and a projectile using the same, the nEM composite-based solid propellant comprising: a KNSU composite powder; and an nEM composite powder mixed, in a solid powder state, with the KNSU composite powder so as to form a KNSU/nEM propellant, wherein the nEM composite powder increases the burning rate and combustion temperature of the KNSU propellant when the KNSU/nEM propellant is ignited.
