Abstract:
The present invention relates to a nanofluid vapor chamber for dissipating heat in an LED package, and more particularly, to a nanofluid vapor chamber for dissipating heat in an LED package, which forms a vapor chamber with a heat dissipating structure at the lower end of an LED element, and which has a heat medium including nanoparticles inside the vapor chamber to conduct heat, thereby significantly reducing the size of the LED package and enhancing the performance of the LED element. The present invention is characterized by comprising an upper portion metal plate (110) onto which the LED element (10) is mounted, and a lower portion metal plate (120) which is coupled to the upper portion metal plate by means of surface contact, wherein a plurality of wicks having various shapes but a uniform depth are formed on the upper end of the lower portion metal plate (120), and the wicks hold the nanofluid. According to the nanofluid vapor chamber for dissipating heat in the LED package of the present invention, heat can be quickly dissipated by spreading the heat generated from the LED element (10) evenly and quickly inside the vapor chamber, thereby enhancing the performance of the LED element, and the upper and lower portion metal plates can be formed to be very thin, thereby effectively reducing the size of the LED package.
