Abstract:
Provided is a nanoparticle body which can elevate light intensity or the enhancement degree of an electric field. The nanoparticle body (10) comprises a substrate (1) and multiple Medusa nanoparticles (2). The substrate (1) is formed of, for example, glass. The Medusa nanoparticles (2) are located on the surface of the substrate (1). Each of these Medusa nanoparticles (2) comprises a head nanoparticle (21) and multiple hairy nanoparticle aggregates (22). The head nanoparticle (21) is formed of, for example, gold and has a diameter of 800 nm. The head nanoparticle (21) is located on the substrate (1). Each of the hairy nanoparticle aggregates (22) has a hairy shape and bonded, at one end, to the head nanoparticle (21). Each of these hairy nanoparticle aggregates (22) is composed of multiple single nanoparticles (221). Each of these single nanoparticles (221) is formed of, for example, gold and has a diameter of 30 nm. These single nanoparticles (221) are connected in strings and have a branched structure.
