Title:
NANOVESICLES DERIVED FROM BIFIDOBACTERIUM BACTERIA AND USE THEREOF
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/151825
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to vesicles derived from Bifidobacterium bacteria and a use thereof. The present inventors have confirmed experimentally that the vesicles were significantly reduced in samples of patients with dementia, heart diseases such as myocardial infarction and atrial fibrillation, and malignant diseases such as liver cancer, pancreatic cancer, cholangiocarcinoma, bladder cancer, and head and neck cancer compared to a normal person, and the vesicles inhibited secretion of an inflammatory mediator by pathogenic vesicles such as E. coli-derived vesicles. Therefore, the vesicles derived from Bifidobacterium bacteria according to the present invention may be effectively used for developing a diagnostic method for liver cancer, pancreatic cancer, cholangiocarcinoma, bladder cancer, head and neck cancer, dementia, myocardial infarction, or atrial fibrillation and for developing a composition for preventing or treating the above-mentioned diseases or inflammatory diseases.
