Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2019/168328
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
The present invention relates to vesicles derived from Rhizobium sp. bacteria, and a use thereof. The present inventors have experimentally ascertained that the vesicles in clinical samples from patients with stomach cancer, colorectal cancer, breast cancer, ovarian cancer, bladder cancer, prostate cancer, asthma, diabetes, Parkinson's disease and dementia are significantly reduced in comparison to those from normal people, and when the vesicles derived from the strains are administered, the secretion of inflammatory mediators by pathogenic vesicles such as E. coli-derived vesicles is significantly inhibited. Therefore, the vesicles derived from Rhizobium sp. bacteria, according to the present invention, can be effectively used for the purpose of developing a method for diagnosis of stomach cancer, colorectal cancer, breast cancer, ovarian cancer, bladder cancer, prostate cancer, asthma, diabetes, Parkinson's disease or dementia, and a composition for preventing, alleviating or treating the diseases.
