Abstract:
Nanomaterial preparation methods, compositions, and articles are disclosed and claimed. Such methods can provide nanomaterials with improved morphologies and reduced nitric oxide co-production relative to previous methods. Such materials are useful in electronic applications. For examle a silver nanowire is produced by the polyol process by using a solution comprising silver nitrate, ethylene glycol, PVP and especially a compound of a metal from the lanthanide group such as lantanum.
