Abstract:
A 0.25-1.5mm-thick napped artificial leather including: a fiber entangled body that includes extremely fine fibers with a fineness of 0.5dtex or less; and a polymer elastic body such as a polyurethane, with which the fiber entangled body has been impregnated, wherein the napped artificial leather has a main surface that is a napped surface on which a nap of the extremely fine fibers has been raised. The napped artificial leather further includes phosphorus-based flame retardant particles that have been deposited on the polymer elastic body such as a polyurethane, said polymer elastic body being unevenly present in a thickness range of 200μm or less from a back surface opposite from the main surface. Additionally, the phosphorus-based flame retardant particles have an average particle size of 0.1-30μm, have a phosphorus atom content of 14mass% or greater, have a solubility of 0.2mass% or less in 30°C water, and have a melting point, or a decomposition temperature if no melting point exists, of 150°C or greater, and the phosphorus-based flame retardant particle content is 1-6mass% expressed in terms of phosphorus atoms.
