Abstract:
This napped artificial leather comprises a nonwoven fabric that is an entangled body of ultrafine fibers and a polymer elastic body that is provided in the nonwoven fabric, and has, on at least one surface, a napped surface provided by napping the ultrafine fibers. The ultrafine fibers have a fineness of not more than 0.5 dtex and a tensile strength of 6-9 mN, and a plurality of ultrafine fibers form a fiber bundle. In a region excluding a surface layer, the ultrafine fibers forming a fiber bundle are not constrained by the polymer elastic body. The napped artificial leather has a polymer elastic body content of 16-40% and an apparent density of at least 0.38 g/cm3.
