Abstract:
The present application provides a narrow-linewidth single-frequency light source, comprising a pumping unit; a resonant cavity, the resonant cavity comprising a gain optical fiber used for obtaining excitation light by means of excitation of pumping light; and a filtering unit used for filtering laser light in the resonant cavity to obtain narrow-band laser light, the bandwidth of the filtering unit being smaller than the longitudinal mode interval of the resonant cavity so as to obtain narrow-linewidth single-frequency laser light, and the filtering unit being directly inscribed on the gain optical fiber. The filtering unit is directly inscribed on the gain optical fiber, so that the length of a single-mode optical fiber attached to a filter grating can be saved, the clamping length of a clamp is also saved, the cavity length is shortened, the longitudinal mode interval is further increased, a single longitudinal mode is facilitated to be obtained, and the light source is simple in structure and good in laser light output stability; moreover, the effective gain cavity length is increased, and therefore, even when the total cavity length is shortened, the gain cavity length can still be increased, and the power of a laser can be increased, thereby solving the problem that line width and power cannot be taken into consideration simultaneously.
