This invention is related to a nasal razor device made up of two parts as a nasal razor head(A) and a handle (B) with shoulder (refer fig1) which can be used manually with hand. It can clean shave internal nose hairs to the lowest possible length while providing no cuts to skin of the nasal cavity. The safety razor head is specially shaped to reach narrow parts of nose while not creating any cuts and equipped with one sharp twin edge safety blade with safety cover for better, safer and reversible shaving capabilities. The shaving results of the nasal razor device depends on the pressure of nasal razor device while shaving with respect to nasal cavity skin. This device is capable of working in both reverse directions of nasal hair grain simply with the stroke or sweep of the handle either clockwise or anticlockwise with respect the nasal cavity thus reversible for the purpose of shaving the nasal hair. The nasal razor device is capable of proving active lubrication to shaving skin while in operation. The device is collectively capable of producing least irritation to human nose while shaving due to its small structure and absence of vibrations.

A nasal razor device invention consisting,

- A safety razor head assembly with twin edge blade (C) with safety cover.

- Handle (B) with shoulder (E).

Altogether makes a device for the purpose of shaving nasal hairs inside human nose. The nasal razor device is capable of assuming reversible position as discussed in paragraph 0008.

The nasal razor device invention provides cleanest and closest nose hair shave inside the nose as discussed in paragraph 0007.

According to claim 1 and 2, this device is very effective in terms of shaving time, shaving results and cost compared to devices available in the market.

The device inclusive to all previous claims has least number of parts and cost effective to operate in the nose trimmer or shaver category as well as providing active lubrication.

This device inclusive of all previous claims has shoulder design (E) to eliminate chances of over-insertion inside the nasal cavity by human error which may create nasal membrane damage.

The device inclusive of all previous claims has a blade with safety mesh cover which is designed not to produce cuts to human nose cavity or skin while operating.

The device inclusive of all previous claims and being least irritant with respect to vibrations inside note as this device does not powered by external power source.

The device inclusive of all above claims also has ease of shaving in the nose trimmer or shaver category.

Field of Invention:

[OOOlJThe nasal razor device shaves hair manually from human nose interior with help of twin edge safety razor blade. It functions entirely on with effort of human hand. Nasal razor device contains one twin edge razor blade mounted on a small tapered razor head for best shaving result. Nasal razor device is also capable of shaving reversible in either direction with respect to nasal hair means from left to right and reverse with respect to human nasal hair. Nasal razor device has safety mesh cover attached on the twin edge blade which ensures safety of user while inserting, removing or shaving inside nose thus no skin cuts unlike other safety razors. Nasal razor device also has a lubrication strip which ensures lubrication of nasal cavity skin while shaving thus ensures least irritation and comfort inside human nose. This device is capable of reducing cost and uneasiness of nasal waxing which is also a popular method of removing nasal hairs which has comparable results to shaving obtained by nasal razor device.

Background of the invention:

[0002]Human nose grows hair inside nasal cavity and needs to be removed at a regular interval, usually 4 to 6 weeks to maintain personal hygiene, personal looks as well as occasional clinical examination related to nasal cavity. Nose is located on the face of human body and grows hairs which are thicker and hard to reach. It can be a very unpleasant experience to remove nasal hairs. Nose is a very sensitive organ of human body and if anything of significant size or shape inserted in to it may result in itchiness inside the nose which may result in sneezing.

[0003]Current inventions of nose trimmer (Patent No US D569,552 S) and nose clipper (Patent no US D 503,495 S/US D 476,444 SI ) use rotary or oscillating blades to trim or cut the hair but the device fail to achieve results compared with Nasal Razor Device herein. Along with the nose cavity, the device in discussion is also absent of any vibrations compared to other battery operated devices. The vibrations caused by the above mentioned device may result the nasal hair trimming an unpleasant experience and likely to result in sneeze. The Nasal Razor Device in question is absent of such vibrations and it is designed to possess a very small cross-section around 5-6 millimetre in diameter at maximum compared to 8-9 millimetre in rotary or oscillating trimmers. The nasal razor device thus produce better results than the rotary nose clipper (US D 503,495 S) and nose hair trimmer device (US D569,552 S). The people who cannot afford to buy the electronic nose hair trimming device usually use scissors or pair of tweezers to remove nasal hairs. This methods can be dangerous and uneasy and may not be so effective. The scissors or nose clipper (US 252,5450 A) are sharp and likely to injure delicate nasal internal skin tissues and the tweezers can be difficult or uneasy to use for new users as well as time consuming too. This issue can clearly be solved by the Nasal Razor Device which uses the twin edge razor (C) which shaves nasal hair at approximately 10 degrees or less when in contact of human skin. The safety mesh cover on the blades ensures it is safest and least sensitive device to be used inside nose without cuts to the internal nasal skin unlike scissors, tweezers, electric nose clippers and waxing collectively. The nasal razor device is only device which provides active lubrication while in use with help of lubrication strip attached on twin edge blade (C). Nasal razor device is capable of providing multidirectional shave. Human nasal hairs can grow in different direction however twin edge safety blade is specially designed to shave in either direction. The simplified design of nasal razor device is also capable of reducing the tooling and razor head manufacturing cost compared to standard Australian patent application number 2015200207. Nasal razor device in discussion has no moving parts, simplified design as well as least number of parts compared with nasal razor 2015200207 with same results. The nasal razor device is a modification to Australian patent application no 2015200207.


[0004]The nasal razor device has a rigid body which consists a handle (B) which is approximately 90 millimetres long, 25 millimetres in diameter with rubber coating for better grip on one end and safety razor head (A) on other end of the handle (B). The handle (B) has 25 millimetres body diameter throughout which is reduced at the shoulder (E) where it has smooth reduction in diameter from 20 millimetre to approximately 6.5 millimetre within 10 millimetres of length. Nasal razor head (A) has smooth contour which ensures the most comfortable shaving inside the human nose.

[0005]The safety razor head (A) has a very narrow width of 4-5 millimetres maximum, length of 25 millimetres and thickness of 4 millimetres maximum to be able to comfortably fit in any adult human nose. Safety razor head (A) has rounded edges for comfortable operation inside human nose.

Nasal razor device is tapered at both ends (refer Fig 2) under edges of twin edge razor to reach narrow spaces of nose thus capable of shaving hairs in corner of the nose with ease by human hand.

Safety razor head (A) has one twin edge safety blade (C) with safety mesh cover (refer fig 4) which ensures no skin cuts while shaving, insertion and removal. [0006] Safety razor head (A) is mounted on handle (B) at shoulder (E) which eliminates possibility of over-insertion of razor device inside nose due to increased diameter. This feature enables safety of interior nasal skin which is very sensitive and prone to cuts. The body of nasal razor device is perfectly straight to allow user the access to reversible shaving feature.

[0007]Nasal razor device works on same principle as normal razor which is widely used to shave hairs like moustache, beard and other body parts. The principle of shaving is sweeping the blade across hairs of shaving surface with edge of the blade facing the surface with pressure at user discretion. The length of shaved hair is dependent on sharpness of blade and distance at which blade sweeps on the shaving surface. If blade is pressed hard to the skin then edges of blade will be closer to share base thus provides cleaner shave. Nasal razor device in discussion here is designed to work inside nasal cavity on human face for purpose of shaving nasal hair with utmost safety, precision, comfort as well as providing active lubrication. The effectiveness of shaving nasal hair is a result of manipulation of nasal razor device with respect to nose with help of operating human hand. The specially designed handle ensures the user identifies shaving surface with hands by means of special markings or shape of the handle (B).

[0008] Safety razor head (A) has a twin edge blade with safety mesh cover which enables reversible feature of nasal razor device. The left edge of twin edge blade (C) will be able to shave nasal hair in clockwise movement and vice versa thus nasal razor device is capable of shaving with and against grains of nasal hair growth.

[0009]Nasal razor device is ready for use inside nasal cavity with optimum active lubrication with the help of lubrication strip (D) and can be used straight after removing from the packaging.

Brief Description of Drawings

Figure 1 represents overall idea and parts of nasal razor device which are safety razor head (A), handle (B), twin edge blade (C) with safety cover, shoulder (E) and lubricant strip (D).

Figures 2 is a sectional top view from razor head which shows safety razor head (A) cross section, position of twin edge blade (C), handle (B) and position of lubrication strip (D) Figure 3 represents top view, side view and sectional side view of nasal razor device. It shows the construction and shape details with safety razor head (A), twin edge blade (C), handle (B), lubricant strip (D) and shoulder (E) in form of a segment to secure blade in its place.

Figure 4 displays enlarged view of blade (C) with safety mesh cover and mounting holes for the purpose of attaching blade with the razor head. There are side and top view of blade included to explain the blade structure.
