Abstract:
The present invention relates to: a natural composition for inhibiting the production of carcinogenic N-nitrosamine in the stomach and intestines and promoting the production of nitric oxide in the intestines; and a use thereof. The natural composition according to the present invention comprises a natural fermentation product, in which a sodium nitrite (NaNO2) or a nitric oxide metabolite are immobilized and stabilized, and a sulfur-containing substance as active ingredients, produces S-nitrosoglutathione by means of gastric acid (strong acidic conditions) in the stomach, and can produce a predetermined concentration of nitric oxide for a predetermined period of time after being delivered to the small intestine and colon, and thus is expected to be widely applied in fields related to the treatment of hypertension, diabetes, stress-induced irritable bowel syndrome, arthritis, or atopic dermatitis treatment.
